‘Tis I, Cooper

Hi there, I’m Cooper and I live in the Yakima Valley otherwise known as Washington Wine Country.  This is a great place for canines to live or visit and I’ll be giving you “Coop’s Scoop” about all the pooch friendly places and activities throughout the valley.

Before we dive into the fun stuff, I’ll tell you a little bit about myself.  I’m a life long resident of the Yakima Valley, 6 years old, blonde with brown eyes and I live with my human, who takes excellent care of me.  Little does she know, I actually run the house, but don’t tell her I said that.  I enjoy chasing kitties, any water activity, chewies, squeaky toys, and my couch. Most of the week I’m at Grandma’s house and business while my human is at work.  It is so much fun at Grandma’s because I get to hang out with my cousin Oskar, a German Shepherd, and we have

ourselves a great time.  We get to play chase with each other (or maybe a kitty or two) and sometimes farm dog friends from around the Valley stop in to say hello, while their humans are looking for farm or industrial equipment at my Grandma’s business.  Friday is one of my favorite days because I attend doggie day care at the K9 Country Club.  I play and hang out with my buds and enjoy my break from Oskar, he’s a tattletale .  Plus I always look forward to crashing out on the couch at home that night after a hard day of playtime.

Me and the Equine Family

The weekends are the best because I get to go places with my human which typically includes a stop by my equine family members’ pasture.

Well that’s enough about me, I need to go bound around in the new snow now.  I’ll be back with another Coop’s Scoop on the neat things canines can do in the Yakima Valley real soon.
